My advice would be to go for a narrower text column though. It would really increase the legibility, which would be a #1 priority on a site like this with a lot of text. Do your ads really have to be images, can't you use text links for advertising because I really think that it ruines the design but hey thats my opinion. For the rest, good mockup. Your current mockup design reminds me of newspaper page..nice design though..Your mockups are one step short of great new look for devlounge..just hang in there...make it more easy to browse(previous design were cool on DL) ...
