Thanks for the link, and the advice. I will have to try that and see what I think, I have never been 100% happy with the footer yet, I think it was a while before I had a post show up on a day

I love the handmade look of Happy Cog, great choice. I think it would be interesting to do an article that delves deeper into the idea of the expanded footer, why people do it, and examples of content used in them.
