Maybe it's just me, but I see a sum of money as a result of work or a donation for a cause / product / service. I don't see cash suited as a gift as I has no personal touch. Cash comes and goes but a Flickr PRO account stays with you (at least for a year :wink: ). I agree with Fernando that there are tons of good books designers are after all year long and the Holidays are a perfect time to offer them as a great, memorable gift.
