Hello everyone, just wanted to update you on a few happenings here and there. First off, some of you may have been wondering for a while “What ever happened to those weekly podcasts?” Our “podcast manager”, Timothy Frie, worked extremely hard on getting the first podcast in order. As a former voice-over master, he put together great sounding intros and other bells and whistles that really would have given the Devlounge podcasts a really great vibe to them. Unfortunately, the timing just didn’t work out. He is currently busy trying to get his own site off the ground, and didn’t have enough time to be producing a podcast and launching a site. For the time being at least, he has backed out from podcast managing. While he sent me an amazing script for the first show a few weeks ago, it was a little too late to get things started, as some of topics weren’t as fresh as they were originally when we thought the podcast would be out much earlier, and an even bigger reason, I don’t sound very interesting (not a very good “radio-friendly” voice).

We hope to get podcasts rolling soon, and as the spring and summer get closer, I should have more time to dedicate to getting them up and going. If anyone with more initiative would be interested in helping the cause, please feel free to use the (newly fixed and finally working right) contact form.
