Put Us in Your Browser

Firefox 2 and IE7 fans rejoice. You can now search Devlounge no matter what page your on, even if you’re not on the site at all. Using the Opensearch capabilities of a FF 2 and IE7, you can add Devlounge as a search option right to the browser.

To do so, just select the drop down in the search bar of FF2 or IE 7, and you should see a “Add Devlounge” link. This should work from any page here on DL. Add it today!

I love this OpenSearch malarkey. Great stuff for developers. Know if anyone has used it?

No, I think it will catch on really soon though. It’s really convenient to allow visitors to search your site from any site.

Cool. Is it possible to tell if anyone is using the Devlounge search in their browser?
