Trouble – Shoot!
While work continues on the new design, I am working with our host to root out the incredible slowness that has taken over Devlounge of late. It seems since our upgrade to WordPress 2.2, the site has been taking ages to load. We hope to have this all figured out by this weekend. We appreciate your patience.

Mine did similar, unfortunately I have no idea how to sort it out and I ended up completely uninstalling and reinstalling.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure it some kind of server side issue. (Maybe that’s what is was for you to). At first I thought maybe it’s just because this is large site, but even with a clean install of 2.2 on my portfolio (also hosted on this server) I get the same long delays.

I recently updated a few sites to 2.2 and I noticed the opposite: Especially admin pages load much faster.

Yeah, it didn’t happen right after the 2.2 upgrade, because it was fine for a while, but it seemed to come on about a week to two weeks ago. What version of php and mysql do you have?
