As promised, we really wanted to begin maturing and offering more to both our frequent readers and experienced ones. One thing we dreamed about doing in 2006 was having our own podcast, but we could never get anything started or find anyone willing to run one for us. The problem was, with each author busy writing articles, it left us with little to talk about. We didn’t want to review topics we had covered in articles, because that just would have been repetitive and annoying.

So saying that, we entered 2007 on a mission to get our own podcast going sometime in the near future, and today it brings me pleasure to announce our own podcast will soon be hitting your speakers.

We’d like to welcome Timothy Frie to the Devlounge team as our new and official podcast manager. He has been designing sites for the past 6 years and working on the internet for over 13, so I really feel he’ll be able to bring great things to Devlounge and really help expand the audience and cover more topics that articles just aren’t always fit to cover. Plus, he has voice-over work experience, which will definitely be a big upgrade over my unfriendly radio voice .
