		<description>It&#039;s true that php powered counters and popularity plugins won&#039;t work, but the best way of implementing those anyway is through a Javascript call. That avoids having to filter out search engines.
That&#039;s what I do with my own referrers plugin which powers my &quot;popular posts&quot; list.</description>
