		<description>Great article. As for rss vs. email they&#039;re almost two demographics if you think about it. Rss would be preferred by the more tech savvy while email for those who prefer a familiar way to receieve content. Offering both where applicable can&#039;t hurt because your RSS is search engine food while email is not.

Anyone use PHPlist? I&#039;ve been using 69mailer if you want to trade notes.</description>

I&#039;d be a bit concerned about daily newsletters. That would be a lot of mail to shovel out - and through. Imagine coming back from vacation and finding all of those! Crazy :O

I think newsletters maneuever through the &quot;Advertisements and weekly highlights!&quot; genre of information, sales and the like. Also, not many people know how to use feeds, as prominent as they are becoming. Newsletters are a cherished bit of antiquity that actually aren&#039;t that bad to have around :)</description>
