I love twitter and use it for all types of things from personal messages, discussion, opinion polls, referal, asking tricky questions, distributing my blog posts etc etc. Twitter is truly versatile. You guys should check out Foller.me, it allows you to quickly get a scope into someone's twitter tags and general topics of interest before you follow them.
