I use a piece of jQuery to pull the JSONfeed of Twitter. Works like a charm. I guess badges are alot easier though

The following is a (mostly) shameless plug for our own Twitter badge site:

We wrote TwitStamp (http://twitstamp.com) to mirror some of the functionality of the original Twitter badges, but better looking and image-only. Ditching the Flash, we just generate dynamic PNG images with your tweet and user info, so it could go anywhere that the Flash badges can’t. Forum signatures, email signatures, WordPress.com blogs, whatever.

I don’t know if you guys have seen tweetmeme, http://tweetmeme.com, they provide you with a button which lets you retweet from it. They also show the number of tweets that your link/page has gotten. So it’s a bit like digg.
